Fine Italian Dining at Trevi's

During our recent stay at the Omni Mandalay, we enjoyed some wonderful Italian dishes at Trevi's Restaurant.

I had cioppino, a juicy mix of crab, shrimp, lobster tail, mussels, and scallops in a red sauce with grilled bread. The flavorful combination made for a most pleasing meal. Created in the late 1800s by Italian immigrants in San Francisco, the cioppino dish has evolved to an art form at Trevi's.


My wife raved about the salmon accompanied by a creamy polenta, with grilled asparagus and meyer lemon sauce. Besides seafood, Trevi's also offers Italian pasta, steaks, and has an impressive selection of fine wines. For dessert, we both dived into fresh berries and a warm chocolate hazelnut lava cake.


Even with the late hour that we dined, a violinist played a romantic tune and the staff was most friendly and helpful. Guests can dine in the restaurant or the vine-covered patio outside.

Free covered onsite parking is available, with valet parking available for a nominal fee. A free shuttle service is provided for destinations within five miles of the hotel. Downtown Dallas is located just 15 minutes away.
