The historic Balinese Room in Galveston, Texas, destroyed by Hurricane Ike

On our most recent visit to Galveston December 2007, we stopped in at the Balinese Room, and met up with Colin, a worker on skates. He offered to take us on a behind the scenes tour of the Balinese Room. We're glad we did as Ike took care of destroying it. Hopefully some of the memorabilia was taken out of the place before Ike arrived. Enjoy these 3 pages of photos (scroll right to see all). We wish Galveston a speedy recovery
