Largest aircraft makes inaugural flight

Singapore Airlines undertook an inaugural flight October 2007 with their new A380, surpassing the 747 as the largest commercial aircraft ever built.

The first flight was from Singapore to Sydney,Australia, and seats were auctioned for charity. Seats were sold for as high as $100,000. Think about that for a moment..
